Bloomington, IN. - The Blue Raider Women's Tennis team began their fall season this weekend with three players competing in Bloomington, Indiana, at the Hoosier Classic. Over the three day tournament, Costanza Magazzini and Luisa Zirilli went undefeated in singles play and Lidia Burrows finished 2-1. At the same time, Magazzini and Zirilli posted a 3-1 doubles record and Burrows did the same when paired with a player from Cincinnati. Overall, the women finished the weekend 13-4 in singles and doubles during their opening weekend.

Coach's Comments
"This weekend was a strong start to open our fall season," said Head Coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall. "We played hard both physically and mentally. There were some strong teams and we competed well against them; I am very proud of Costanza, Louisa, and Lidia for representing MTSU with confidence and fight."

Looking Ahead
The Blue Raiders will be back in action next weekend when they travel to South Carolina for the South Carolina Fall Invitational beginning in Columbia, SC on October 5^th.
