Middle Tennessee raced against the top competition over the weekend at the Vanderbilt Indoor Invitational. Despite going up against some of the best teams in the SEC, ACC, and Conference USA, the Blue Raiders still notched several podium finishes.

MT claimed titles in both 400 meter events with Jaquez Torian and Joycelyn Assafuah taking home first while the Blue Raiders also placed runners in the top 10 of both 200's.

Abike Egbeniyi followed up her record-breaking weekend with another first place finish, this time in the 800 meters. Egbeniyi ran a new personal best in the 800 of 2:03.77, setting a new Nigerian Indoor record for fastest 800. She now holds the second and 20th fastest times in the world this year in the 800. Tre'Von Sanders finished with his best indoor time in the 800 and his second best time in the overall in the 800. His time is also the 24^th best time in the US this season.

The men's relay team won their fourth title of the season and remains undefeated on the year. The women placed second behind Alabama.

Fabian Edoki	Long Jump (M)	8.01m	1^st

Fabian Edoki won the long jump by over a quarter of a meter in just his second jump of the day.

THROWS
Isaac Odugbesan		Shot Put (M)	18.79m	3^rd

The sophomore Odugbesan finished third in the shot put behind two seniors. It's the best mark in C-USA, the 41st best throw in the world this year and the best by a Nigerian
