The Middle Tennessee Track & Field heads to the Birmingham Crossplex for the second time this season on Sunday for the KMS Invitational. The Crossplex will host both the Conference USA and NCAA Championships, so it's a venue the Blue Raiders definitely want to get comfortable in. With several athletes seeded high in the heat sheets, MT seems primed for success this weekend.

The Blue Raiders set 3 meet records at the 2017 KMS Invitational. Solomon Afful holds the Men's 200 record at 21.03 while Hillary Rono's Mile time of 4:12.04 is also a meet record. The MT Women's DMR team of Abike Egbeniyi, Janet Amponsah, Shaina Johnson, and Agnes Abu also set the record, finishing the relay in 11:54.77.
