MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders welcome the month of April with open arms, as 12 of their 17 games this month will be in the friendly confines of Reese Smith Jr. Field. But before C-USA play resumes, the Blue Raiders will welcome the Racers of Murray State on Tuesday night. This marks the first matchup between the two schools since 2000, when both teams were members of the Ohio Valley Conference before MTSU's departure to the Sun Belt Conference.
Junior Aaron Antonini continued his hot hitting during the month of March, heading into April with an 11-game hitting streak. The catcher batted .321, while leading the team in both RBIs (14) and homeruns (3) last month in 19 starts.
Junior Andy Rivera is slated to get the start for MT on the mound. The right-hander returned from two arm surgeries against Lipscomb on March 19, throwing an inning and striking out one.
Scouting Murray State: The Racers come into Tuesday's game on six days rest, after a break from Conference play last weekend. As a team, the Racers bat just .241 at the plate and are led by outfielder Jake Slunder. The Freshman is hitting at a .299 slate and leads the team in runs scored with 21.
On the mound, RHP Joe Ivey gets the nod. The junior leads the team in wins with three and just one loss to his record. In his 19.1 innings of work, he's given up 23 hits, 12 earned runs, and batters hit .291 against him.

Tomorrow's game will also feature Two Dollar Tuesday, with tickets, hotdogs, and soft drinks costing just two dollars.
