Men's 4x800 Relay Team Notches First During Final Day of the Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – The Blue Raiders earn a champion title at the Penn Relays for the second consecutive season as the men's 4x800 relay team propels to first in the college division with a time of 7:37.37. The relay team of Nathan Mack, Kigen Chemadi, Brian Rono and Tre'Von Sanders recorded the best-finish of the relays, finishing just under three-seconds faster than the second-place relay team.
Meanwhile, the Middle Tennessee men's 4x100 relay team of Keyon Hugle, Lamarco Petty, Jaquez Torian and Willington Wright notched a fourth-place finish in the men's 4x100 college division finals on Saturday. The relay team crossed the line with a time of 41.02.
Similarly, the men's 4x400 team posted a fifth-place finish on Saturday, finishing with a time of 3:07.98. The 4x400 relay team included Petty, Torian, Braam Bisschop, and Wright.
The women's 4x400 team placed ninth in the college women's 4x400 Championship of America Invitational qualifier on Saturday afternoon. The relay team of Patience Akanwogba, Joycelyn Assafuah, Eusila Chepkemei and Abike Egbeniyi recorded the ninth-place finish with a time of 3:46.79.
On the field, Jacob Patten placed fourth in the college men's high jump. Patten placed among the top-five after passing a height of 2.08-meters.
