CINCINNATI, Ohio - After taking the doubles point, Middle Tennessee's women's tennis squad couldn't finish from its' strong start at Xavier, falling by a score of 4-3.

In doubles play, Marta Peris Herrero and Lidia Burrows gave the Blue Raiders first doubles win by a score of 6-2 and the Barnard twins follow that up with another 6-2 win for their second win as a duo.

The Blue Raiders increased the lead to 2-0 when Zani Barnard dominated her match with a 6-2, 6-0 straight set win. Xavier responded with two wins of their own to tie the match up at 2-2. Lee Barnard earned her 10th singles win of the season to up the MT lead to 3-2.

Xavier completed the comeback as they took the final two matches.
