For the third straight game, Blue Raiders score at least four goals in win

Freshman Cambell Kivisto earned her first collegiate goal, knocking in a precision shot from 15 yards out scoring right under the cross bar with an assist from Casey Riemer. That would be the end to the scoring in the first half.

Peyton DePriest, yet again, continued her hot streak as she enjoyed herself another two goals in the 67th and 86th minute to put her up to five in the last three matches. Last season, DePriest missed seven games and still led Conference USA in goals scored with 11.

After DePriest's first goal, the Catamounts responded quickly with a goal from Emily Threatt off a penalty kick in the 70th minute to make it 2-1.
With the score 3-1, Hannah Tillett joined the scoring party in the last minute to keep her scoring streak alive as she has scored a goal in each of the first three games.

Middle Tennessee returns home to face off against rival Western Kentucky on Sunday (September 1st) afternoon at 5 p.m. (CT). That matchup will be the 19th meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Hilltoppers since 2001. The series is all tied up at 6-6-6 and the Blue Raiders have only won two of the last eight.
