Blue Raiders Finish Up at Dale Short Shootout

MURFREESBORO, TN - The Blue Raiders hosted the Coach Dale Short Shootout and presented by Jason Deli's over the weekend and saw two newcomers make their Murfreesboro debuts. Brad Buckland and Sean Presson competed at the Adams Tennis Complex for the first time alongside with juniors Chris Edge and Daniel Stormon.

Freshman Brad Buckland went 5-1 on the weekend, including a three set battle with Jake Penny (6-0, 6-7, 6-4) against Lipscomb. Chris Edge went undefeated in singles, but had a challenging doubles lineup finishing 4-2 overall. Daniel Stormon finished 4-2 with nice singles wins against Lipscomb and Belmont, the Blue Raiders finished the weekend with a 12-6 combined record including a 4-2 record on the final day.

LOOKING AHEAD
The whole squad will be competing next weekend as half the Raiders will travel to the Samford Invite and the other half will head to Tulsa, OK for ITA All-American Championships.
