MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee track and field teams are on the road this weekend to compete in the Ed Temple Classic hosted by Tennessee State University in Nashville.

MT opened up the indoor season last month at the BSC Icebreaker when it saw eight top ten finishes, two of which were first and second place in the same event. Willington Wright finished first in the men's 400 meter dash with a time of 48.36s and Jacquez Torian came in at second with a time of 48.55s. Mirlege Castor and Lamarco Petty also had top five finishes, both placing fourth in their events.

The Blue Raiders are looking to have another successful run after taking home 13 first place finishes and 26 total podium finishes last season at the Ed Temple Classic.
