Blue Raiders Collect Nine Wins On Day Two

MURFREESBORO, TN – Middle Tennessee men's tennis team notched three doubles victories and six singles wins on the second day of action at the Dale Short Shootout at Adams Tennis Complex.
MT began their day by taking three of four doubles matches in the morning session. Tom Moonen and Pavel Motl won their first match at a 6-1 clip over Amer Bedwin and Joaquin Bianchi of Troy. Andreas Kramer and Sean Presson took their win in the morning match 6-0 against Romero and Rodriguez of Troy. The duo of Patrick Kristensen and Max Rauch won the final doubles match on Saturday morning at 6-2 over Manuel Bernard and Francisco Erranmuspe of Troy.
Francisco Rocha who secured his second win of the weekend with a 6-1, 6-2 decision over Troy's Bedwen in singles action. Moonen defeated Bernard by a margin of 6-2, 6-2.
The Blue Raiders took four of six singles matches to conclude Saturday's action as Patrick Kristensen defeated Erramuspe, 6-1, 6-4, and Max Rauch defeated Jacob Marshall of Chattanooga by a score of 6-3, 7-5. Oskar Michalek and Sean Presson clinched the final two matches in straight sets.
The round robin format at the Adams Tennis Complex will conclude with a round of doubles and singles play starting at 10 a.m. Sunday.
