Cross Country Heads to Alabama for NCAA Regionals Meet

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders men and women's cross-country teams are heading to Huntsville, Alabama for the NCAA Cross Country South Regional on Friday, November 12. The men will run at 9:30 am CT and the women at 8:30 am CT.
Both the men's and women's teams are coming into the regionals with a lot of steam. The teams placed first together for the second time in the last three seasons at the Conference USA Championships. Head Coach Keith Vroman swept both Coach of the Year awards and is looking to continue his excellence in Alabama.
Last time out for the men in the NCAA Regionals they placed second during the 2019 season. The men will be bringing seven men to Huntsville including the five that were placed on the Second Team All-Conference Squad (Kimaiyo, Rono, Mosito, Choge, and Habtamu).
The women had a rough ending taking 11th last time out for the NCAA Regionals in 2019. The women placed Eusila Chepkemei, Naomy Limatukei, and Joice Jebor on the First Team All-Conference squad at the C-USA Championships and are hoping they can continue to dominate at regionals.
