MT set for road swing at Marshall

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee looks to build on its recent success by winning a pair of games on the road this weekend, as the Blue Raiders take on Marshall in an important Conference USA east division matchup.
Both games this weekend can be seen on ESPN+, and fans are encouraged to tune into the radio broadcasts of both games on WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM; The Game 2 94.9 FM/95.1 FM.

About the Blue Raiders
» For the first time since going 3-0 to start the 2019-20 campaign, Middle Tennessee is coming off two consecutive wins, this time a sweep of C-USA east foe Charlotte at home.
» Two Blue Raiders have started all 16 games of the 2020-21 season: Jordan Davis and DeAndre Dishman.
» Davis leads all active Blue Raiders in scoring, averaging 11.3 points per game to go with his team-leading 27 steals.
» Forward Jo'Vontae Millner-Criss has 7.4 points per game on 40.5% shooting along with a team-leading 5.7 rebounds per game.
» Nick McDevitt's team has seen a great defensive improvement so far this season, as the Blue Raiders are first in Conference USA and 13th nationally in three-point field goal defense (28.1%). MT is also fifth in C-USA in turnovers forced per game (14.94).
» Leading scorer Dontrell Shuler suffered a season-ending leg injury in the second half of game one against Charlotte. Fellow Blue Raider guard Donovan Sims has now missed six games due to a knee injury sustained in practice prior to games against Western Kentucky.

» The Herd do the little things well, as they rank first in C-USA in blocked shots per game and assist-to-turnover ratio.
» 6-foot-5 junior guard Taevion Kinsey leads the Herd with 19.8 points per game to go with 6.3 rebounds per game.
» Point guard Jarrod West averages 12.5 points, 6.3 assists and 2.7 steals per contest.
» Guard Andrew Taylor crashes the boards for a team-leading 6.5 rebounds per game to go with 10.4 points scored per game.
