MTSU Ready for Match Against UT Martin

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After playing two Conference USA matches this past weekend, the Middle Tennessee women's tennis team heads back to non-conference action this weekend as they will host UT Martin, Friday. First serve at the Adams Tennis Complex is set for 12 p.m.

About the Blue Raiders
- Middle Tennessee earned a split last weekend, taking down Louisiana Tech, 5-2, on Saturday before falling to Southern Mississippi, 4-3, Sunday
- Graduate student Lidia Burrows has 87 singles wins which ranks No. 2 in program history.
- Burrows also went 4-0 last weekend, earning two doubles wins as well as two straight-set singles victories.

- Middle Tennessee and UT Martin are meeting for the 33rd time in history
- The Blue Raiders holding a commanding 31-1 lead in the series dating back to 1977
- The only win for the Skyhawks in the series came back in 1995

- UT Martin is still looking for their first win this season in their seventh match under head coach Caitlyn Williams
- Sina Albersmeier and Mizuki Sakurai lead the team with two singles wins each and have paired up for a pair of doubles wins as well.
