Volleyball Travels to Take on FIU

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee volleyball team is set to hit the road this weekend, with a pair of games against the FIU Panthers. The Blue Raiders will take on FIU Sunday, Mar. 14 at 12 p.m. on CUSA.tv, followed by a noon matchup on Monday. Monday's match will also be CUSA.tv.
Match 11 & 12: Middle Tennessee (3-7, 2-5) at FIU (1-8, 1-7)

About the Blue Raiders
- Last time out, the Blue Raiders defeated North Alabama 3-1 at Alumni Memorial Gym on Thursday night.
- The Blue Raiders put three players in double-digit kills, led by a season-high 15 from junior Emma Grever, who hit .225 in the match versus North Alabama
- Amelia Van Der Werff is currently third on the team with 106 kills averaging 2.72 per set. She also ranks fifth in C-USA and 61st nationally in hitting percentage with a .368 clip.
- Defensively, sophomore libero Marley Banton led the charge with 21 digs. Taylor Eisert recorded nine digs along with 45 assists in Thursday's match against North Alabama.

- Valeria Santos has played every set as a libero for the Panthers, averaging 4.03 digs per set.
