Raiders on the road for final midweek matchup

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee faces its final midweek matchup and last road test of the 2021 regular season on Wednesday when the Blue Raiders travel up I-24 to visit Austin Peay, one of the Ohio Valley Conference's toughest teams.

About the Blue Raiders
» MT took two games in the four-game series at Florida Atlantic by getting great pitching all weekend and piecing together timely hits in games two and four.
» The 1-2 punch of Summer Burgess (.326 avg, 11 doubles) and Kelci Hill (.391 avg, 52 hits, 20 RBIs) leads the Blue Raiders at the top of the order.
» Lexi Cushing leads in homers (4) and RBIs (23), while Claire Smith (11) and Jocelynn De La Cruz (10) also boast double-digit RBIs.
