Scurry returning to Blue Raider Hoops as Graduate Assistant

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Head Men's Basketball Coach Nick McDevitt announced Tuesday the staff addition of former Middle Tennessee forward Reggie Scurry, who will serve as a Graduate Assistant for the Blue Raiders.
Scurry returns to Murfreesboro after competing in blue and white during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
"I'm very excited about being able to welcome Reggie back to the "Boro," McDevitt exclaimed. "He was a very good player and a great teammate during his time in uniform and I'm confident that he will be just as much of an asset to our program in his new role."
A two-year starter in the post, Scurry amassed 540 points, 139 rebounds and 34 blocks in just 51 games as a Blue Raider. His 57.3 career field goal percentage ranks sixth all-time in the Middle Tennessee record book.
The Augusta, Ga., native earned his bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee in May 2020.
