CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A penalty kick in the 88^th minute by senior Peyton DePriest gave Middle Tennessee Soccer a 1-1 draw against the Austin Peay Governors on Sunday afternoon at Morgan Bros. Soccer Field.

In what would be a back-and-forth fight for 85 minutes of play, the Austin Peay's Lindsey McMahon would put the Govs on the board first in the 85^th minute on their third shot of the contest and second on target.

The Blue Raiders needed a quick answer, which eventually came in the 88^th minute on a penalty from APSU's McMahon inside the penalty box. Peyton DePriest beat APSU's keeper Chloe Dion to bring the game even at one with 1:31 to play.

Middle Tennesse would attempt one final shot in the final minute of play before the game ultimately concluded in the 1-1 draw.

The Blue Raiders outshot the Govs 13-3, including a 5-2 mark on target. Middle Tennessee also held the advantage in corners, 3-2. Junior keeper Hannah Suder collected the Blue Raiders sole save of the day.
