MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders start conference play this weekend as they play Charlotte at home on Friday, September 24 at 6 p.m. CT and Saturday, September 25 at 6 p.m. CT.

About the Blue Raiders
- Emma Grever had a career-high 18 kills with a .310 attack percentage against Seton Hall and her weekend total was 29 kills, earning her an All-Tournament Team honor.
- Melisa Nur Temiz's late match heroics against Seton Hall that included six service aces in the last three sets against Seton Hall, saw the freshman earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team alongside Grever.
- Middle Tennessee dropped their last match on Tuesday against UT Martin in three sets. Unforced errors were a common theme throughout all three sets.
- The Blue Raiders have played three matches since having to take a 20-day break due to injuries, Covid-19 protocal, and contact tracing. The team canceled five matches and postponed one during that time.
Tale of the Tape: Charlotte 49ers
- The 49ers are 7-5 in preseason play this year and are currently on a two-loss streak after getting swept by both UNC and Winthrop.
- On the attack, Charlotte is led by Emani Foster who currently leads with 154 kills and 173.5 points on the young season.
- Defensively the 49ers are led by middle blocker Amani McArthur who has 67 blocks and averages 1.68 blocks per a set. McArthur also leads the 49er offense in attack percentage with .406.
