Track & Field Announces 2022 Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee track and field team has released its indoor and outdoor schedule for the 2022 season.
Indoor Schedule
The Blue Raiders will kick off their indoor slate at the Ed Temple Invitational this next weekend on Sunday, January 9 in Nashville Tennessee, hosted by Tennessee State. The track and field team will meet in Nashville for three more meets throughout the rest of the indoor season, each of the next three being hosted by Vanderbilt. The only meet before the conference championships that will be not hosted in Nashville will be the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville on from January 28-29.
The indoor season will finish in Birmingham, Alabama for the Conference USA Championships, February 19-20, and the NCAA Championships, March 11-12.
Outdoor Schedule
For the second year in a row the Blue Raiders will be kicking their outdoor season off with the Tiger Track Classic on March 18-19 in Auburn, Alabama, hosted by the Auburn Tigers. The track and field team will go to Auburn again later on in the season for the War Eagle Invitational April 15-16.
In April the Blue Raiders will compete at a pair of regional meets that include the Hilltopper Relays in Bowling Green and the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville.
The team will close the season out with the Goergia Tech Invitational April 22-23 and the Penn Relays in Philadelphia April 28-30 before heading to the C-USA Championships.
The outdoor C-USA Championships will be hosted by UTSA in San Antonio, May 12-15. Team members that qualify will head to Bloomington, Indiana for the NCAA Regionals, May 26-28. If they are eligible, members of the team will then head to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon to compete June 8-11.
