Men's golf finishes Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate tied for ninth

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's golf wrapped up the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate in a tie for ninth place Tuesday. The Blue Raiders combined for a score of 295 (+7) in the third round to finish at 865 (+1) for the tournament.
Owen Stamper led the charge for the Blue Raiders, finishing in a tie for 17th at 213 (-3). He recorded a 73 (+1) in Tuesday's third round, notching four birdies along the way.
Michael Barnard's 72 (E) was MTSU's best score of the day. He finished the tournament in a tie for 33rd at 217 (+1) after picking up three birdies and one of two Blue Raider eagles Tuesday.
Carter Maneth and Kevin Jegers tied for 37th at 218 (+2) after recording identical scores of 75 (+3) Tuesday. Jegers recorded a pair of birdies and an eagle Tuesday, while Maneth tied for the team lead with four birdies in the third round.
Gavin Clements rounds out the lineup at 224 (+8), tied for 64th.
