MTSU finishes play at the ITA Regional Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders completed play in the B Flight of the ITA Regional Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. on Saturday.
Love-Star Alexis and Sana Garakani competed on Saturday for the Blue Raiders.
Garakani picked up a singles win with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Belmont's Anastasiya Zholakova. Alexis fell in her singles match on Saturday.
Overall, MTSU tallied seven singles wins along with three doubles wins.
HEAD COACH TAYO BAILEY-DUVALL
"We play in a pretty tough region, and I think our girls performed well. We are battling a few minor injuries that have made an impact. I know once we are healed and ironed out some important areas in our game, we will be ready to go in the spring. We have one more small invite next week before we start looking forward to the spring."

The Blue Raiders will end their fall slate at the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational on Oct. 28-30.
