Fall season ends with 10th place finish at Olde Stone Intercollegiate

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Middle Tennessee women's golf concluded the fall portion of its schedule Tuesday with a 10th-place finish at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate hosted by Louisville and Western Kentucky at the Club at Olde Stone. Catherine Caudill and Abbie Lee led MTSU with scores of 227 (+11).
After darkness halted play Monday before the second round could be completed, the Blue Raiders contended with winds over 15 miles per hour while recording their lowest round of the tournament in Tuesday's third round, finishing at 302 (+14). MTSU wrapped up play with a 54-hole score of 914 (+50).
Caudill's 74 (+2) was the Blue Raiders' lowest score of the third round. Lee carded a 76 (+4) after starting her day with the first of three third-round birdies. The pair tied for 28th individually.
Taylor Edlin tied for 36th at 230 (+14) after carding back-to-back rounds of 79 (+7) in the second and third rounds.
Lauren Gilchrist carded a team-high five birdies on her way to a 75 (+3) Tuesday. She finished in a tie for 56th at 236 (+20).
Molly Bebelaar rounded out the lineup in a tie for 66th at Tuesday was her lowest of the tourney.

8 - Caudill and Glchrist led MTSU with eight birdies apiece, tied for 14th in the tournament.

"We played better in some tougher conditions today with the winds. We have a lot to work on in the offseason to get more consistent with our scoring."
