Indoor Track and Field Season Starts at the Commodore Challenge

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's and women's track and field will go to Nashville, Tenn. for the Commodore Challenge to open their indoor season. The meet begins Friday, Jan. 13 at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility.
The MTSU men and women Field Events will start Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the High Jump, while Running Events are set to start at 5:00 p.m. with the women's 200-meter race. The Running Events will wrap up the competition for Friday, the 13.
Beginning Saturday, the MTSU men will start the morning off at 11:00 a.m. with the Shot Put. Other Field Events will follow with the Pole Vault, Triple Jump, and women's Shot Put. Running Events for Saturday kick off at 12:00 p.m. with the women's 60H-prelim.
Following Vanderbilt's Commodore Challenge, MTSU track and field will have three more meets before the indoor conference championships, two of which are also hosted by Vanderbilt. C-USA Championships are in Birmingham, Ala. On Saturday, Feb. 18.
