Sanga finishes 77th, Kiptoo finishes 198th at 2023 NCAA Championships

Charlottesville, Va. – Middle Tennessee's three representatives at the NCAA cross country Championships completed the competition today in Charlottesville, Virginia, at Panorama Farms Cross Country Course.

Freshman Brian Kiptoo finished out the race in 198^th place with a time of 31:41.90s. An impressive year for Kiptoo ends at the NCAA Championships among the 236 best runners in the country.

Vincent Yegon also started the race on the men's side but was unable to finish. It was a great year as well for Yegon, earning First Team All-Conference USA honors.

Graduate senior Purity Sanga placed 77^th out of 247 runners today with a time of 20:31.40s. Sanga finished out a great cross country career at the NCAA Championships. She was named First Team All-Conference USA, CUSA Championships Individual Champion, CUSA Championships Most Outstanding Senior and USTFCCCA All-Region.
