Blue Raiders earn highest finish of season at Jackrabbit Invitational

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Middle Tennessee women's golf tied for fourth at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club, the Blue Raiders' highest team finish of the 2022-23 season. Taylor Edlin led the way at 218 (+2) after a team-low 73 (+1) in Tuesday's third round as MTSU capped off a spring break trip that took it to Hawaii and Las Vegas.
The Blue Raiders combined for a team score of 304 (+16) in the third round, finishing the event with a 54-hole score of 898 (+34), tying with Little Rock for fourth place.
Edlin started her day with a birdie on the fourth hole, ending the event with a tie for ninth individually. All three of her rounds in the tournament fell within the top 50 individual rounds of the season for MTSU.
Catherine Caudill tied for 27th at 225 (+9) after a 75 (+3) in the third round. She earned her third top-30 finish of the season. Caudill's three birdies equaled the most by a Blue Raider on Tuesday.
Molly Bebelaar carded a 78 (+6) in the third round, tying for 41st individually at 229 (+13). Lanie Campbell tied for 44th at 230 (+14) after a 78 (+6) of her own Tuesday. Abbie Lee rounds out the MTSU lineup at 234 (+18), tied for 60th.
Playing as an individual, Lauren Gilchrist wrapped up play in a tie for 58th at 237 (+17).
