MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After a strong first season in the Lauren Wamsley era, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team has announced its 2025 fall schedule of tournaments, highlighted by three in the state of Tennessee.
"We are very excited for this semester of competition," said head coach Wamsley. "This schedule is going to test our team day in and day out with tough fields and courses to ensure we are prepared for the conference tournament in the spring."
The Blue Raiders kick off the season in Dallas, competing at the Sam Golden Invitational at the Oakmont Country Club. The tournament runs from September 8-9 and will feature a 36-18 hole format, hosted by the University of North Texas. MTSU then returns to Tennessee for a quick trip to the McCabe Golf Course in Nashville to take on Tennessee State in the Town & Country tournament Sept. 12. The second two-day tournament of the fall season sees the team travel to Toledo, Ohio, to compete in the Inverness Intercollegiate. The competition, hosted by Toledo, runs from Sept. 15-16 at the Inverness Club.
The second half of the fall season begins with the Blue Raiders taking part in the Mason Rudolph Championship for the fifth season in a row, this year at the Vanderbilt Legends Club South course. Running from Sept. 19-21, the Vanderbilt-hosted event will mark the first three-day tournament of the fall. Middle Tennessee then travels east to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate, located at the Cherokee Country Club. The always-competitive tournament is hosted by the University of Tennessee from Oct. 5-7. To close out the fall, the Blue Raiders will travel abroad to Paradise Island, Bahamas from Oct. 24-26 to compete in the White Sands Invitational at The Ocean Club.
