Blue Raiders set to tee off at Sam Golden Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's golf is set to tee off its 2025 fall season this week at the Sam Golden Invitational, hosted by North Texas. The tournament runs from Sept. 8-9 at the Oakmont Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
The Lineup
Caroline Pardue leads the Blue Raider lineup for the first time this week after playing in just eight rounds last season. The sophomore averaged 77.75 strokes per round last season in four tournaments. Isabella Johnson, a sophomore transfer from Tennessee, will make her Blue Raider debut in Dallas at the No. 2 spot. She competed in three events as a Lady Vol, averaging 75.63 strokes per round. Ella Manley will tee off third, looking for a strong start to her junior season after competing in all events last season. Nicole Johnson, another Blue Raider who teed off each round for Middle Tennessee last season, will come in at the fourth spot. Rounding out the lineup is Jillian Bowman, another junior who saw time in over half of the rounds last season for the program.

Joining Middle Tennessee and host North Texas is Texas State, New Mexico State, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas State, Tulane, UTSA, Central Arkansas, Tulsa, Texas Tech and Louisville.
The Format
The Invitational will feature a stroke play format with 54 holes. The teams will play two rounds on Monday for 36 holes and a final round on Tuesday to complete the 54. The teams will tee off from a shotgun start, with the players riding carts throughout, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
