Women’s tennis heads to Miami to face No. 35 FIU on Wednesday, Michigan State on Thursday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis travels to Miami, Fla. to face No. 35 FIU on Wednesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. CT.
On Thursday, March 9, the Blue Raiders will take on Michigan State at 11 a.m. CT.
MTSU is coming off a hard-fought battle against No.29 Wake Forest falling short 4-2. Muskan Gupta picked up her seventh singles win on court No. 3. Noelle Mauro tallied her eighth singles win which is the most singles wins on the team.
As a team, the Blue Raiders are 38-29 in singles this season.

- FIU is 6-3 on the season and is ranked No. 35 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
- The Panthers return three players from last year's squad. The returners combined for 42 singles wins and 34 doubles wins. FIU welcomes three freshmen and a transfer to this year's team.
- FIU has two doubles teams ranked by the ITA with No. 56 Yasmine Kabbaj and Oyinlomo Quadre and No. 62 Ekaterina Khayrutdinova and Kamila Umarova.
