Blue Raiders drop their match against Michigan State on Thursday

MIAMI, Fla. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis falls 4-0 against Michigan State on Thursday, March 9 in Miami, Fla.
The Spartans took the doubles point on court No. 3 and 1. Freshmen Sana Garakani and Cara Szilasi were in a battle on court No. 2 but was unfinished.
Michigan State claimed points on court No. 6, 2 and 5. On court No. 1, Love-Star Alexis fought back in the second set to go up 5-3 but was unfinished. Muskan Gupta was on top 4-3 in the second set on court No. 3 but was unfinished as well. Noelle Mauro came close to giving the Blue Raiders their first point on court No. 4 when she was ahead 6-4, 5-4 before the match ended unfinished.

"Today's match didn't go as expected. We knew MSU was going to be competitive but we also know that we can compete at that level. We have to refocus and hit the practice court this week to be sure that next time we play against FIU and teams similar to MSU that we come out on top."
