MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball has dipped into the transfer portal and added guard Tyronn Mosley, a senior who joins the Blue Raiders from Mississippi Valley State.
"Ty's combination of size, athleticism, and experience is an important addition to our backcourt," head coach Nick McDevitt said. "He is a proven scorer and has shot the ball incredibly well from behind the arc over the last two seasons of college basketball. We're looking forward to having him on campus!"
A native of Chicago, the 6'6" Mosley, averaged 11.2 points and 3.9 rebounds for MVSU in 2022-23, shooting .515 from the floor and .492 from 3-point range and .795 from the free throw line.
Prior to Mississippi Valley State, Mosley played junior college basketball at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Miss., where he averaged 11.3 points and 4.8 rebounds while shooting .467 from the floor, .488 from 3-point range and .750 from the free throw line.
Mosley is the son of Kathy Harwell and Prentise Mosley.
