Edlin makes top 10 as Blue Raiders finish seventh at Conference USA Championship

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Taylor Edlin made the top 10 as Middle Tennessee finished the Conference USA Championship in seventh as a team at 923 (+59). Edlin tied for ninth individually at 222 (+6).
With temperatures in the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies, MTSU combined for a third-round score of 311 (+23) On a challenging PGA National Resort course.
Edlin carded a 77 (+5) in Saturday's third round. Her lone birdie came on the 10th hole.
Catherine Caudill shot a 75 (+3) for MTSU's best score of the third round. She picked up a birdie on 14 on the way to an 18th place finish at 231 (+15).
Molly Bebelaar picked up two birdies on her way to a 78 (+6) in the third round. She finished the tournament tied for 30th at 238 (+22).
Abbie Lee finished the third round at 81 (+9), tying for 33rd at 241 (+25).
Lanie Campbell rounds out the MTSU lineup at 248 (+32), finishing 39th.
By the Numbers
7 – Caudill and Edlin led the Blue Raiders with seven birdies for the tournament.
4 – Edlin is the fourth Blue Raider in the last six C-USA tournaments to finish in the top 10.
E – Edlin was even-par on par four holes in the tournament, tied for the best mark in the field.

"Not the day we were hoping for, but we left everything out there today. Taylor had a great tourney, and so did Catherine and we will miss them both dearly. We have some work to do for next year, and Conference USA will look a bit different, but we will be ready for it!"
