No. 28 Blue Raiders defeat No. 32 Louisville 4-1 on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — No. 28-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis tallied their fifth ranked win of the season defeating No. 32 Louisville 4-1 on Sunday, April 16 in Louisville, Ky.
The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point on courts No. 2 and 1. On court No. 2, Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump picked up a 6-4 win. No. 48 Oskar Brostrom Poulsen and Francisco Rocha secured the doubles point winning 7-6 (9) on court No. 1.
In singles, the Cardinals took a point on court No. 3. On court No. 5, Motl gave MTSU a 2-1 lead winning 7-5, 6-0. Ondrej Horak tallied a 6-4, 6-3 victory on court No. 4 to extend the Blue Raider lead to 3-1. No. 76 Slump defeats No. 28 Etienne Donnet 6-4, 6-4 on court No. 2 to clinch the win for MTSU. This would be Slump's sixth ranked win of the season.

"The boys came to play today. I told them beforehand I had never won in Louisville before and it's a tough place to play. Plus, it was their senior day. The doubles were clutch and we competed like crazy. I am looking forward to a day off and then some work to improve before Houston."
