Softball hosts UTSA in final home series

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball (30-15, 9-8 C-USA) will host UTSA (8-35, 3-14) for a three-game series at Blue Raider Softball Field this weekend starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 28.

The Blue Raiders won their series in Miami against FIU after sweeping a doubleheader on Saturday. Julia Garcia and Ansley Blevins led the way with 13 combined hits and 20 total bases on the weekend. Kamryn Carcich pitched a complete game in game two giving the Blue Raiders the win and came in for a save in game one earning C-USA Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. Carcich's four saves on the season lead the conference.
