Middle Tennessee Set for Fixture at New Mexico State

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Middle Tennessee Soccer continues its Conference USA slate with a fixture Sunday evening at New Mexico State.
Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. CT / 6:00 p.m. MT.
Notes and Storylines
» Sophomore M Manon Lebargy scored goals in three consecutive matches for the Blue Raiders from Aug. 31 - Sept. 7. The Lille, France native had a first half brace against Lipscomb on Aug. 31, before giving Middle Tennessee an insurance goal in the 80' against Cleveland State Sept. 3. And on Sept. 7 vs. Chattanooga, Lebargy headed in a corner kick in the 56.' Lebargy is the first MTSU player to score in at least three consecutive matches since 2021, when Peyton DePriest had goals in four straight fixtures (Sept. 5-16).
» Eleanor Gough has scored twice for the Blue Raiders this year, both in the 87'. She had the match-winner in a 1-0 victory at Howard Aug. 27 before equalizing at Tennessee Tech on Sept. 17 in a 2-2 draw.
» The Blue Raiders and Aggies will face each other for the first time ever, and the first time as fellow Conference USA members.
» G Hannah Suder recorded a career-high 11 saves against Liberty Sept. 21, moving into fourth place all-time in career saves at MTSU and becoming the fifth member of the 200 career save club.
» G Hannah Suder and D Caroline Manley seek spots on all-time program career record lists in 2023.
Suder currently stands in the top 10 of numerous program goalkeeping records, including being tied for fourth in career saves (209), fourth in games started (55), fourth in games played (60) and fourth in minutes played (5,060:32).
Manley meanwhile has started in all 72 Blue Raider matches across her career. She currently stands at 5,306 consecutive minutes across 60 matches dating back to Oct. 11, 2019. With 6,582 total minutes under her belt, she moved to No. 4 all-time in career minutes played in program history among outfield players, and is the 12th Blue Raider to enter the 6,000 minute club.
Behind Enemy Lines
» The Aggies are one of four new teams in CUSA, alongside Liberty, Sam Houston and Jacksonville State. The program won the Western Athletic Conference tournament championship a season ago, in its last year as members of the WAC.
» NM State sits at 5-5-1 overall, but is 2-0-0 in league matches, with a 4-3 win over LA Tech and a 2-0 victory at rival UTEP.
» Junior midfielder Bianca Chacon lead the squad in goals (4), assists (5) and points (13). She has registered assists in both CUSA wins this season.
» Gianna Valenti has added three goals in 2023 and Loma McNeese has scored twice.
» Rob Baarts is in his sixth season as the Aggies head coach, with his squad picked to finish second in CUSA preseason.
