Al-Amin, Matsuoka win both doubles and singles to begin day one at the Alabama Four in the Fall

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team finished day one of the Alabama Four in the Fall on Friday, September 29.
The four Blue Raiders were split into two separate teams. The MTSU Blue team was Karim Al-Amin and Shu Matsuoka and the MTSU White team was Igor Mandou Berranger and Kristian Thomas.
The MTSU Blue team faced the Tulane Green team. The duo of Al-Amin and Matsuoka defeated the duo from Tulane 6-3. Al-Amin picked up a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Tulane's Benji Jacobson. Matsuoka tallied a 2-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4 win against Hady El Kordy of Tulane.
The MTSU White team took on the Alabama White team. The Alabama White team took the doubles point and won both singles matches.
