Blue Raiders sweep Liberty on Friday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team hosted the Liberty Flame on Friday at Alumni Memorial Gym. The Blue Raiders earn their first conference win winning in three straight sets.
The Blue Raiders (9-5, 1-2 CUSA) defeated the Liberty Flames (7-6, 0-1 CUSA) with set scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-20. The Blue Raiders finished the match with a .367 hitting percentage.
Redshirt senior Kayla Henley recorded 13 kills on a .522 hitting percentage. Henley totaled five digs and three blocks. Sophomore Adri Rhoda had 11 kills on a hitting percentage of .320. Redshirt senior Dasia Smith tallied five kills and five blocks. Senior Taylor Eisert earned 30 assists as well as two kills and seven digs. Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson added five kills and three blocks.

.360: The Blue Raiders finished the match with a hitting percentage of .360.
.522: Henley had a hitting percentage of .522. She needs 16 more kills to reach 1,000 for her career.
30: Eisert obtained 30 assists averaging 10 per set.
