Blue Raiders host Bearkats for first matchup with new CUSA opponent

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball is back in action Saturday as it takes on Sam Houston State in a Conference USA clash. The Bearkats and Blue Raiders will meet on the hardwood for the first time ever at 5 p.m. at the Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 60-52 loss to LA Tech on Thursday. Jestin Porter led MTSU with 24 points, while Jared Coleman-Jones picked up his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The game will air on CBS Sports Network. WGNS, Classic Hits 93.3 and 95.1 FM will carry the radio broadcast, along with GoBlueRaiders.com and the Varsity Network App.
