Tennis Ribbon Cutting ceremony set for Thursday
Join Middle Tennessee State University, its president, Dr. Sidney A. McPhee, and MTSU Athletics on Thursday, February 1, in the concourse of the Murphy Center overlooking the new Tennis Facility at the corner of Greenland Drive and Middle Tennessee Boulevard for the Ribbon Cutting for the new facility.
I took a tour of the facility firsthand today as the final touches were being put in. It's truly a spectacular, on-campus environment for collegiate tennis that will both serve the men's and women's programs as a practice home, but more importantly offer each a top tier home court advantage as the temperature rises in the spring.
Make sure to join us at 1 p.m. on Thursday to check it out yourself!
Friendly reminder, we needed to adjust ribbon cutting due to weather, new date 📆 is Feb 1st at 1pm 🕐 #lastmajorfacilityprojectforme 😎 pic.twitter.com/JDiI9pZ6G8

"I am so proud of the girl's fight and effort today, especially after our Friday match," Head Coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall said. "We are a team of fighters who never give up, and I am proud of them. Louisville is a really good team of hard hitters, and we knew what to expect. Our ability to make adjustments when needed and come up with quality shots at tight moments are the reasons we won today."
