Men’s and Women’s Tennis Holds Clinic for Murfreesboro City School Students

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's and women's tennis programs held a free tennis clinic on Wednesday evening for Murfreesboro City Schools students at the MTSU Tennis Complex.
Approximately 100 kids grades 2-6 attended the two-hour event which was led by lead coaches Jimmy Borendame and Tayo Bailey-Duvall. Players and members of the Middle Tennessee coaching staffs were also on hand to work with the students in small groups.
The kids were introduced to the art of serving, volleying, forehand, backhand and footwork drills.
The women's team is back at home this weekend for the MTSU Invite on Oct. 25-27 at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Complex.
