Blue Raiders set for MTSU Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball will host the MTSU Invitational this weekend on March 1-3.
The Blue Raiders will welcome Army, Bradley, North Alabama and Detroit Mercy in the MTSU Invitational over the weekend.

· The 2024 MTSU Invitational is the fourth consecutive year of the tournament.

Series History
The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series with Army 3-2 with the last matchup back in 1998. The Bradley Braves lead the series with the Blue Raiders 4-2. MTSU has never met with North Alabama or Detroit Mercy.
Scouting the Competition
Army is 1-14 (.067) in 2024 with a win over Kennesaw State. Bradley comes into the tournament at 3-7 with two wins over Western Carolina and one win over UNLV.
North Alabama is 10-5 to start the 2024 campaign with a win over Western Kentucky and UT Martin. Offensively they hit .253 as a team and in the circle hold a team ERA of 2.66. Detroit Mercy is still winless in 2024 after five games.
