Women’s Tennis hosts SEMO on Friday, Lipscomb on Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis will welcome SEMO on Friday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. CT and Lipscomb on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. CT at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 6-1 win against Alabama A&M. The win marked their first home win of the season.
As a team, MTSU has totaled 20 singles wins so far this season. Freshman Lena Peyer is off to a quick start with a 5-1 record in singles.
The doubles pairing of Sana Garakani and Eloise Swarbrick are 4-2 when paired up this season.

- Friday's matchup will be ninth meeting between MTSU and SEMO. The Blue Raiders lead 8-0.

- SEMO is 1-3 to start the season. In the last match, the Red Hawks picked up their first win of the season defeating Lindsey Wilson College 5-2.
- The Red Hawks return four from last season.
- SEMO welcomes three freshmen and a transfer to this year's squad.
