Blue Raiders on the road at Jacksonville State

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball will travel to Jacksonville State for a conference series starting on March 22 at 6 p.m. CT.
All games this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Gamecocks lead the series 11-8 over the Blue Raiders. The last meeting was two games in 2021 which resulted in a split. MTSU is 3-5 when traveling to Jacksonville, Ala and will play three games at Jana McGinnis Field this weekend.

Jax State sits at 10-19 so far this season and 0-3 in Conference play. The first conference series for the Gamecocks would come against Liberty. Most recently they dropped a midweek game with Chattanooga 1-3.
As a team offensively, the Gamecocks rank eighth in overall batting average in CUSA at .251. Lindsey Richardson has totaled eighth homeruns for Jax State so far this season to rank third in CUSA homerun totals. She is batting .318 on the season with 31 RBIs.
