Blue Raiders launch five home runs, but Flames take series opener

After a two-run first inning, James Sells settled into the start only allowing one run to score the next four innings.
After home runs from Jackson Galloway in the fourth and Rutter in the fifth, the game was tied at four heading into the sixth. It was until a seven run seventh inning the Flames took the lead and never looked back.
MTSU tried to fight back, sending out three home runs as Eston Snider and Rutter went back-to-back in the seventh and Gabe Jennings led off the ninth with a solo blast, but the Flames' lead held.
