Raquin named Conference USA Athlete of the Week

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Leo Raquin tabbed Conference USA Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday. This is the second time this spring Raquin has earned this honor this spring.
"Leo is a top college player, period," said MTSU Associate Head Coach Andrea Caligiana. "We're not surprised anymore. He's been proving it over and over with his performances. We're proud of him and we are very excited to see what he can do in this final month of the season."
Leo Raquin tallied three wins to cap off regular season play. Raquin earned his second win over a ranked opponent in doubles with Ondrej Horak defeating No. 74 Alex Bancila and Luc Hoeijmans of Tulane 6-3. He followed that win with another one in singles against Tulane's Billy Suarez 6-3, 6-4 on court No. 1. The next day, the Besancon, France native blanked UNC Asheville's Freddy Murray on court No. 1 6-0, 6-0.
