Blue Raiders sweep New Mexico State in the Semifinals of the CUSA Championship

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — 1-seed/No. 34-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis welcomed New Mexico State to the Outdoor Tennis Facility for the semifinals of the Conference USA Championships on Saturday, April 20. MTSU defeated New Mexico State 4-0 to advance to the championship match of the CUSA Championship.
The Blue Raiders secured the doubles point with wins on court No. 2 and No. 3. Javier Cueto Ramos and Marcel Kamrowski blanked Feigin and Wallin 6-0 on court No. 2. Jakub Kroslak and Shu Matsuoka claimed the doubles point for MTSU with a 6-1 victory on court No. 3 over Lohmann and D'Ostiani.
To begin singles play, Matsuoka tallied a 6-0, 6-1 victory over D'Ostiani on court No. 6. Demis Taramonlis earned a 6-0, 6-1 win against Lohmann. To clinch the match for the Blue Raiders, Kamrowski won 6-1, 6-3 on court No. 2 over Wallin.
