MTSU to Face Ohio in Myrtle Beach Invitational Opening Round

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball will take on Ohio University in the opening round of the Myrtle Beach Invitational, revealed by ESPN Events Thursday afternoon. The contest will take place on November 21 at 11 a.m. CT in the HTC Center in Conway, S.C. The Blue Raiders' first round match-up will be featured on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The winner will take on the winner of the South Florida/Portland competition in the semi-finals on ESPN2 the following day at 1 p.m. and the losers will face off in the first consolation match-up at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22 on ESPNU.
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Bobcats and the second consecutive season of the two meeting in an in-season tournament. Ohio took the most recent meeting at the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Competition during the 2023-24 season and owns the all-time series record. The Blue Raiders are joined in the tournament by Ohio, South Florida, Portland, Princeton, Texas State, Bradley and Wright State.
Tickets for the tournament are on sale now and can be purchased here. All-session tickets are $135 for baseline seating, $150 for premium sideline and $160 for premium center court. The full tournament bracket can be found below.
