DALLAS – Middle Tennessee men's basketball guard Kamari Lands has been voted to the Conference USA Preseason All-Conference team, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon. The award marks the first preseason honor for the Indianapolis, Ind. native. The Blue Raiders were also tabbed to finish fourth in the conference.
After joining the program during the last offseason, Lands made an immediate impact on the team, scoring in double figures in four of his first six games played as a Blue Raider. Despite missing over half of the conference slate last year due to injury, he closed out the regular season with three-consecutive double digit scoring games, including 13 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, accompanied by five rebounds in the finale against FIU. Overall on the season, the senior averaged 8.1 points in 22 appearances with 13 starts, along with 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
Middle Tennessee is set to open the 2025-26 season at home with a contest against Milligan on November 5. Game times for the 2025-26 slate will be announced as they become available.
