Music City Challenge features John Sherman winning the Men’s 200m

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Track & Field finished day one of the Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt University in spectacular fashion.
In the last event of the day that featured a Blue Raider, John Sherman set a new personal record with a time of 21.09 in the Men's 200m race to take the gold medal. Sherman blew past the field beating second place by over a tenth of a second.
The Men's and Women's saw a Blue Raider set a personal best in each event. On the women's side, Hailee Gorham recorded a time of 5:16.07 for her personal record and Ross Evans ran for a 4:29.18 time for his personal best.
In the Men's 600m, Spensir Stec set a personal best of 1:26.47 as he finished fourth in his heat. Devaun Butler set a personal record of 6.61m in the Men's Long Jump.
