DALLAS – Conference USA has announced its All-Conference Teams and Superlative Awards for the 2025 men's tennis season.
Middle Tennessee claimed five superlative honors for the conference championships and the 2025 season.
Ondrej Horak was named the Outstanding Singles Player of the Championship, while Shu Matsuoka and Igor Mandou Berranger earned Outstanding Doubles Team of the Championship honors for their performance.
The Newcomer of the Year award went to freshman phenom Kacper Szymkowiak. The Polish native made an immediate impact at MTSU, starting his singles career with a program record 11-0 mark, and finished the season 12-2.
Karim Al-Amin was named CUSA Player of the Year after a standout season. The German native was the only Blue Raider ranked in singles this season, reaching as high as No. 98 nationally. Al-Amin notched 13 wins and posted an 11-8 record at the top singles spot, including a victory over No. 54 Hugo Car of South Florida.
In a familiar outcome, Jimmy Borendame was named CUSA Coach of the Year for the 12th time as a head coach and 8th time as CUSA Coach of the Year.
