Middle Tennessee Heads to Knoxville for the Tennessee Invite

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee track and field is back in action this weekend, heading to Knoxville for the Tennessee Invite.
The Blue Raiders are coming off the Raleigh Relays, where Allan Kiptoo set a personal best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:39.52. He was the lone Raider to set a new mark and will look to carry that momentum into Knoxville.
The Tennessee Invite begins tomorrow, with field events kicking off the weekend. The first event featuring the Blue Raiders is the women's long jump, set to start at 11 a.m. The first track event, the women's 1,500 meters, is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Hosting the Conference USA Outdoor Championships
This season's CUSA Outdoor Championships will be held in Murfreesboro at the Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium from May 16-18. For more information about the event, visit the Conference USA website or click here.
